Cairo Dinner Cruise with Sofi and Belly Dancers

I do not recommend this dinner cruise to anyone. The food was cold and beverages were warm. The boat was very old and beat up. The table cloths were stained. The so called 5 star performance is a joke. The entire thing was disorganized! They didn’t tell you were to go for the buffet or the entertainment we wandered around looking for dinner then the entertainment. The tables were not assigned it was a free for all. I have never written a review prior to one but felt I needed to since it was such a disappointment on my last day in Egypt. DO NOT TAKE THIS DINNER CRUISE!!!!!

The food in the buffet was very cold. And not edible. The facility was very old and rundown. While the dancing was lovely, there was a lot of pressure to get a photo and pay for a photo. The best thing about the trip was the driver, Baz. As a solo traveler, he was kind enough to sit with me and listen to the music. The music was incredibly loud.

Probably the dancing of the boy. The boat didn’t go for a full 2 hours which was a shame but the boat was ok.

My husband and me booked this cruise with the belief that it would be in the “Nile City” cruise, as advertised in the pictures. To our surprise it was not and instead was an older boat, not very clean or fancy, all over was ok, the driver picked us up very punctually and waited for us, the food was offered in a buffet and was quite fine. However if you pay around 90€ For two persons and have to pay drinks separate (40€ for 5 beers, little bottle of water and a Shisha) it is a lot of money for Egypt. I was expecting a better show, it was okay but nothing espectacular. The tour guide took us to our table and left for a smoking break 25 minutes later he came back and sat at the table with us all night. I think he should have told us what to expect during the show or at least how to order drinks or help us. We had to ask how to order a drink to a server that didn’t speak Spanish or English and we had to wait for the server to get another server they speak English. (What’s the point of having a tour guide) Overall we could have done the tour our selfs (probably cheaper)

dinner was good, I expected more from shows but the performers were good, The view was beautiful. And our tour guide, Omar was great! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good night, while staying professional the whole time.
