First the elephant in the room needs to be addressed. Egypt is safe and we saw no evidence of being affected by the war. Security at the tourist sites looks pretty good with police everywhere. In addition there was a security guard who accompanied us in Cairo and Luxor. The tour was excellent value for the money. Accommodations were very good, food was very good, drivers were very good and the guides varied from good to very good. It was jam packed itinerary. Days started very early as early as 4:30 am and ended around 9 pm. Spent around 1-2 hours at each site. Which was barely enough time. Hi

My wife and I actually booked the 12 day (7 days Egypt/5 days Jordan) tour thru Nourbelle Tours. This review will focus on our tour of Egypt, as the tour in Jordan was actually handled by a separate company, Flow Travel, which unfortunately received poor reviews from us due to our terrible experience with the way they handled our reception at the airport and subsequent failure to resolve the issue. However, our overall experience in Egypt was wonderful. Thanks to our amazing tour guides, our time there was made that much more memorable. Egypt in and of its already sells itself. Nourbelle tours
