Khalid was a gracious driver, picked us up at our hotel, on time, and took care of everything. And when we arrived in Alexandria, Momo took it from their and accommodated is every step of the way. He gave us well rounded tours of each location, then gave us plenty of time to wander about the sights by ourselves to enjoy as a couple. Admittedly, we were somewhat skittish due to the political events, but there was nothing to fear snd we would recommend anyone to come to Egypt and take this tour
Starting with our ride from Cairo with Khalid, this was a delightful trip. The rest stop was timely and brief so we were able to meet with our guide “Mo,” in a timely fashion. Mo helped us to plan our day, then guided us through the Catacombs, the Roman Theater, and the Citadel. We were treated to a tasty meal of sea bass and rice at our restaurant by the Mediterranean Sea. I didn’t know much about Alexandria before this visit and am so glad we chose to take this tour! Even though we travelled in late March 2026, we felt safe and secure at all times! I would recommend this excursion to everyon
The Travelish Tours package to Alexandria was a great experience. Their package (Catacombs, Amphitheatre, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Jewellery Museum, Citadel) has something for everyone in the family. We got a very good car and an amazing driver. Beyond his superb driving skills, Yasir also spoke fluent English, was very knowledgeable about the fruits and vegetables grown enroute to Alexandria. We just did not feel the nearly 3 hour journey to be tedious. The main person who makes or breaks the package experience is the guide. And Norhan was really the best guide that we have met to date. Our tour to Alexandria was nothing short of outstanding and truly a highlight of our trip to Egypt! Despite our flight from a previous tour being delayed, Momo was incredibly understanding and accommodating. He worked around our revised timeline seamlessly, ensuring we were still able to join and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or missing out; his flexibility and professionalism set the tone for the entire day. Marwa, our guide, was absolutely fantastic attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and so much fun to be with. She brought Alexandria’s history and culture to life with her stor
Momo was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about his native city of Alexandria. We visited the catacombs as well as the Library of Alexandria and Roman colosseum. After the tour we had fresh seafood at a restaurant next to the mediterránian sea. We were picked up in our hotel in Cairo and the driver was very good with a stop half way for coffee. Expect a 2.5 hour drive from hotel in downtown Cairo.
Our first time in Egypt and we had visited the city called Alexandria . This city is the number 2 biggest in Egypt, a lot of history way back to B.C. Period. I love Alexandria and historical sites. So many places to see but can’t fit them in one day. So we 1st visited the Catacombs of Kom el Shqafa ; Alexandria -Al Marghani , Saw a lot of live chickens pigeons rabbits and ducks. in the local markets. Then we visited the ancient Roman Amphitheater. Such amazing view. And last we when to the Qaitbay Citadel . I really enjoyed the views. Lastly we ended our tour with seafood lunch by Shatbi Beach
