Overview

This tour takes you through Egypt’s most famous sites, beginning in Cairo where you will visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx and explore the collections of the Egyptian Museum. You will also move through Coptic Cairo to see its historic churches and experience the bustle of Khan Al Khalili in Islamic Cairo, with time to take in both ancient and more recent cultural layers. You will then head south by flight to Luxor and Aswan and enjoy a Nile cruise between them. In Luxor you will see the temples and burial sites that define the city, including Hatshepsut Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. In Aswan the programme includes the Philae temple & High, giving you an opportunity to visit key monuments of Upper Egypt while travelling along the Nile.
