5 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Flight

Am so glad we did this trip. The cruise was so much better than I thought it was going to be. The boat was clean, food was great, entertainment was fun and the staff were exceptional. A huge thanks to the amazing Mahmoud Gamal, our tour guide! He was a huge part of why our trip was successful.

The Nile cruise was an excellent way to see all the amazing sites located between Luxor and Aswan. The cruise staff were all super helpful and friendly. Our guide Mahmoud Gamal was exceptional. He had us well versed on all the scamming techniques of local vendors before we visited the sites. He had an extensive knowledge of all of the sites and knew exactly the best places for photos and history. We was very accommodating and had us at some of the sites as they opened in the morning to secure the best pictures and avoid the crowds and heat.

We booked a 5 day Nile Cruise through Egypt Tours Portal. Our tour started once we arrived in Luxor and got picked up at the airport. We were taken to our boat the MY Alyssa and met Mahmoud Gamal who would be our guide for the next 5 days. Mahmoud’s knowledge and passion made combined with the sites we visited made our trip even more magical. His knowledge of Egyptian history helped us feel transported back to ancient Egypt thousands of years ago. Hw took us to sites in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Abu Simbel and Aswan. Accommodations were clean, cruise staff were kind and flexible, and meals offered a variety of food each day. Our guide Mahmoud Gamal started our tour with a list of ways to avoid getting conned by vendors and hawkers which made for a more pleasant trip. He provided a detailed history and description of each site and thoughtfully answered all our questions. Lots of thought was placed in ensuring a pleasant experience and it shows.

Mahmoud gave us helpful tips to avoid being harassed by the locals to buy souvenirs. He goes out of his way to make Egypt experience pleasant for every person.
