To start: A nine hour car journey from our hotel the Jazz Elite Casa del mar in Hurghada to ……well tbh our driver wasn’t sure, and the itinerary said Luxor, so in the event we went to Aswan. Two stops, the 1st not too bad, and not a bad coffee, the second, well to call it medieval would be a disservice to the period, the condition of the toilets I used forever burned into my memory……filthy place. My wife and I however, arrived at the Jamila, the liner for our Nile cruise, tired but intact. The condition of the cabin was again relatively poor. A TV that worked intermittently, a leaking shower t
