A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
A Visitors Egypt tour guide will meet you holding a Visitors Egypt sign at the airport or at your hotel, then accompany you to the Giza plateau. You will see the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, and visit the nearby Valley Temple. As you move on to Sakkara, you will explore the Step Pyramid of Zoser, home to Egypt’s oldest pyramid. The day continues in ancient Memphis, where you will view the great statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. On the city tour you will begin at the Egyptian Museum, which houses more than 250,000 pieces. You will then visit the Citadel of Salah El Din and, within it, the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Along the way you will learn about the sites’ historical importance and see key monuments up close. A separate day trip to Alexandria starts with the modern Library of Alexandria, currently the largest library in the world. You will visit the Roman Amphitheatre and see displays of sunken monuments from Alexandria. The tour also includes a stop at the city’s largest mosque, the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, and a visit to the gardens of Montaza.
