1 -Hour Sailing Egyptian felucca ride on the Nile in Cairo

Very nice with a quiet and slow experience in busy Cairo. The sailor was very experienced and the guide funny and knowledgeable.

Great fun. Short trip up the Nile and back. Good way to spend a couple of hours. Amazing to be on an old style form of Egyptian boat.

My husband and I had such a lovely time on our private boat ride with our guide Hakiem and our boat captain Awar. We opted for the ride only (no lunch), and it was nice and simple. Our felucca sailboat was just as we pictured it and it was such a calming ride. (I cannot imagine doing an alternative, like one of the motorized boats for small groups or the large campy nighttime cruises — those just aren’t our vibe!) I specifically booked the tour at 5pm to see the sunset on the Nile. The tour guide was in the hotel at the right time but there some issue with the police or hotel security that meant we didn't leave until around 25 mins later. They said this is normal and part of the process but if that's the case then come 25 mins early. We missed the sunset and just saw some of the colours left in the sky. So, wasn't really worth it. My mother nearly fell over and could have had a serious accident because the docking area for the boat is not safe, the boat was not docked correctly when getting off and the
