Our excursion to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon was a fantastic experience. Abdo, our Egyptologist guide, was very informative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Valley of the Kings is a very popular attraction and was busy on the day we visited. In addition to accessing the three tombs included in the entry ticket, we had pre-booked a visit to King Tut’s tomb. Good but still expensive for what it is. 280€ for 4 hours visit and a guide who gives us the explanations before visiting the monuments because it does not come in the tombs or temple with us. We also took this excursion to have a French guide and the day before I was told that it was not possible. Problem in the entrance tickets because the guide takes each time 1 adult ticket for 2 children (cheaper ) so at the controls it was problematic each time and always and again tips asked to pay the driver.
