We made a last minute reservation and it worked out brilliantly. We took a private tour. From Luxor to ASSOUAN AND BACK,….A 13 hr tour. We had a great driver and French speaking guide as requested. Our departure was 7 am which is later than usual but in reality it worked out perfectly with the visits along our way to Assouan. Quite alone in all temples,….the crowd was gone,…..same on the Dam. But than of course the return is at night and the driving in Egypt is “different” but it works.Just be confident in your driver. Great experience if you have a good guide.
