Visit to El Alamein where my mother's brother and my darlings' mothers brother were both killed in the battle. Brought our aroha from home.
The tour guide Mohab Ahmed was brilliant, did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. He was very knowledgeable and informative about El-Alamein and the surrounding area and was a really nice guy, so ask for him!
Ich musste leider dem Fremdenführer sagen, dass in der Tour noch das Deutsche und Italienische Denkmal drin sind. Sie wollten nach dem Museum und dem Englischen Friedhof schon zurückfahren. Das Mitagessen hätte ich gerne in El Alamein eingenommen. Da hat es sicher auch ein gutes Restaurant gehabt.
