We had the absolute pleasure of traveling with our tour guide, Roshdy Khodary, during our Dahabiya Nile River cruise, and the experience exceeded anything we could have imagined. Roshdy was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny—he brought the history of ancient Egypt to life in a way that made every moment memorable. From teaching us how to read hieroglyphics to sharing fascinating stories of Egypt’s past, his passion and expertise were evident in everything he did. The ship was filthy..smelled of diesel fumes..standing water in the shower. Dirty towels and sheets..Food was disgusting. Ship is old and barely a 1 star, not fit for tourists of any kind! We tried many times to contact the local tour company, even the guide who took us on a tour tried to get in touch with them.. they did not respond to phone calls or text messages..WE did not stay on the ship and want a refund! Horrible experience and a big disappointment with Viator. WE want our money back!

The guide & driver picked us up from the airport. Took us to the riverboat, the boat was nice food was very good. The room was on the ground floor, not bad. The upper floor was for larger tour groups. All sights entrance was included. The guide knew his history but was bit of a scammer he tried very hard to insist we must tip everyone, when no one was actually asking for a tip as they were already paid. He would actually secretly tell the driver, horse carriage driver, boat driver to ask us for a tip when they were already paid by him. Then he would get upset if we did not tip them. He would t

The cruise was amazing especially the tours that we did with our guide RUSHDI. He was prompt gave us a lot of information about the history of the Pharos, the high Dam and Noubian villlage were amazing. The staff on board of the cruise were always helpful, polite and cheerful. Towels need to be changed.

Les repas étaient délicieux avec de nouveaux plats chaque jour. Lorsque le bateau navigue on ne se lasse pas des paysages qui défilent. Les visites sont très bien organisées avec un guide qui parle bien français, est à l'heure et agréable. Nous avions un guide pour deux . Au moment du départ une personne de l'agence devait venir pour organiser un transfert en taxi vers l'aéroport mais personne n'est venu, le guide contacté et la réception du bateau ont géré ce transfert.
