My guide was Tamer, who was highly educated, conversational, and just a true gentleman. He went out of his way to engage with me and learn my likes/interests. It's a long drive to/return from Cairo to Alexandra, so we spoke with me at length about local culture, sports, etc. I'm a solo traveler and appreciate these types of conversations over your basic point and smile type of guides. Most importantly (for me as a frequent traveler versus a “tourist”) was that we did not visit ancillary facilities or sites that target tourists, which is sometimes common on tours. I would book with Tamer again
