The Western Desert around Cairo is a vast, spare landscape, and this overnight experience gives you a guided way to explore it. The trip includes a knowledgeable local guide and equipment for a night at a desert camp. As you move through the region you will visit the protected area of the White Desert and the Sea oasis, and explore the capital city of Bwiti, Bahariya, with its lush palm groves and giant dunes. Along the way you will see hot springs, the Black Desert and Crystal Mountain, and enjoy sand skiing and time on the dunes during the day. You will also have the chance to spend the night under the stars in places such as Agabat Valley and White Desert National Park. In the evening you will have a barbecue dinner beneath the open sky and then sleep in your tent at the camp. After breakfast in camp, you will head back to Cairo.

Ok… the bottom line was that in many ways, this was one of the best parts of the trip. Sayd was ana amazing driver, guide and cook for our experience. The secenery was breathtaking both during the day and I am not sure we have ever seen a night sky that was a beautiful as we saw thst night. Let me give you a few details so you can be prepared. - you are picked up from hotel and delievered to a meeting point. You then are transferred to a van with other folks heading to the same tour. you do not really have room for anything other than 2 backpacks at most so I would advise leaving other luggage

Un chauffeur est venu me chercher à mon hôtel, puis nous avons récupéré 4 autres personnes Il nous a conduits à un camp durant un long trajet d’environ 5 heures Nous avons fait une pause de 10 minutes dans une station service. Une fois au camp on est très bien accueilli et on nous explique le déroulé de l’expédition Après un bon repas nous partons avec un nouveau chauffeur (nous sommes 6) Nous faisons plusieurs arrêts dans le désert noir puis plusieurs autres dans le désert blanc pour arriver à notre camp pour la nuit. Après avoir admiré le coucher du soleil nous prenons un bon repas Ensuite n
