This private tour to the Dahshur Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara will take you back about 5,000 years with an expert professional Egyptologist as your guide. The itinerary is flexible so you can make your own choices about which sites to visit. All transport is provided in new, air-conditioned cars to keep you comfortable as you move between locations. Along the way you will learn about ancient building techniques and the stories behind these famous sites, guided by a knowledgeable Egyptologist. At Dahshur you will see the pyramids; at Memphis you will visit the remains of the ancient capital; and at Saqqara you will explore significant archaeological areas. Optional extras may include an Egyptian traditional lunch, shopping for Egyptian cotton, or a papyrus-making show, depending on your preferences.

Saqqara and the Serapeum are outside the main touristic sites but are absolute wonders which are worth a visit. We were very lucky to be guided by Mahmoud Fawzy, a very knowledgeable and kind guide who escorted us through the sites and explained clearly and in perfect English all the history, architecture and hidden facts of such incredible places. The Saqqara pyramids are unique and once you are inside you stop and think that you are inside buildings 5,000 years old which is incredible. The level of preservation of certain sites is also amazing. But I must say that the Serapeum was particular
