On this private day trip you will explore some of Egypt’s most famous ancient sites: the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, Sakkara, Dahshour and Memphis. The experience will take you across a range of monuments where you can see and learn about different aspects of Egypt’s past, from monumental stone architecture to royal and funerary traditions. As you move between the sites, you will view the towering Giza Pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx, and learn about the histories that surround them. At Sakkara you will encounter an extensive burial complex with its own distinctive structures, while Dahshour will offer a sense of royal reverence in a different architectural setting. In Memphis you will explore the remains of one of the oldest cities of ancient Egypt and the longer story of the civilisation. Along the way you will have time to take in the scale and detail of these ancient places and to reflect on their historical significance.
