Your tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and takes you into the heart of historic Cairo. Along the way you will explore Al Moez Street, known for its rich Islamic architecture, and visit Al Azhar Mosque, a centre of Islamic heritage where you can admire its intricate design and learn about its history. You will also spend time in the lively Khan El Khalili Market, where you can browse and shop for unique souvenirs, and pause for a refreshing cup of mint tea at a nearby cafe. A serene felucca ride on the Nile is included and may take place either before or after the walking part of the tour, depending on your schedule. The itinerary is flexible, so you will enjoy a balanced mix of culture, history and relaxation as you move through Cairo’s historic areas and along the river.

Great experience visiting 2 mosques and learning about the culture. Also visited this traditional and fabulous market/bazaar. Finally a sail on the Nile. Our tour guide, Mariam and driver, Mahmoud were super!
Our guide, Ahmed, was a delight. We so appreciated the time we spent learning about Egyptian culture, relaxing together over mint tea and on the felucca, as well as seeing mosques and market life.
This is a great experience especially if you are looking for flexibility as the guide provides plenty of options so you can adjust the trip to suit your needs and spend more time in the places you are interested the most. I wanted to shop for special good quality Egyptian gifts and Abdu made sure I went to the best places with the best prices!
