This experience takes you to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). After you book, the operator will contact you to confirm the details. On the day of your visit, you will be collected on time in a modern, air‑conditioned vehicle driven by a professional driver. Your journey through the museum will be led by an experienced Egyptologist who is skilled at sharing Egypt’s history and culture. As you move through the GEM, your guide will explain the story behind the museum’s construction, its modern design and the symbolism of each section. You will explore the Great Hall, see the impressive obelisk and walk the grand staircase where artefacts are displayed to illustrate the links between kingship, religion and eternity. Inside, the museum contains 12 exhibition halls holding more than 25,000 priceless artefacts that reflect the richness of Egyptian civilisation. Along the way, your guide will put these objects into context so you can better understand their meaning and significance.

This museum is amazing, the building is as impressive as all the exhibitions. Our guide Omran is so knowledgeable both on the history and on the museum and therefore took us to the important and interesting. It really is too big to take everything in in one trip.
