On this day trip to the Fayoum Oasis from Cairo, you will explore two of the area's most striking natural sites: Whales Valley (Wadi El Hitan) and the Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls. As you travel through the desert landscape, an expert guide will accompany you to Wadi El Hitan, where you will see fossilised whale remains and learn about the site’s paleontological history and its significance to Egypt’s ancient past. You will also spend time by the shores of Qarun Lake, taking in the calm atmosphere of this long-standing natural landmark. Later, at Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear water and take in the contrast between the rugged cliffs and surrounding desert scenery. Along the way, the guide will offer context about each location so you understand what you are seeing and why it matters.

Let me start with our guide Youssef, very profesional, friendly and easygoing. Our driver and he were so patient and kind. The itinerary is complete and amazing, I love that they were punctual, and leading us to the best locations and we had so much fun! I highly recommend to take this trip.
It was really great, our tour guide Hameze was a super friendly, cool & supportive guy, the tour started on time and we managed to visit beautiful locations in Fayoum. We ate at a local place which was very good!

very interesting excursion, especially the fossils of marine animals and the extraordinary landscape.
It was a great day and very full. Our guide Karma was great! She made us taste fallafels and cane juice en route to the desert. She listened to our wishes and did not rush us if we wanted to take pictures. The whale cemetery is interesting to see. The jeep ride was great and the magic lake beautiful. I was a little less impressed by the fall.
