This full-day tour from Cairo to Alexandria includes all transfers by air-conditioned vehicle and takes you to the Mediterranean city that was once an ancient centre of culture and learning. Alexandria today is a busy port, but traces of its past survive across the city, and the tour is designed to bring those relics into view as you move between sites. You will visit the Roman Theater and the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, exploring archaeological remains that reflect the city’s long history. The itinerary also includes a stop at the Alexandria Library and a visit to Fort Qaitbey, so you will see a range of landmarks from different periods and learn about Alexandria’s role through time. Along the way you’ll have time to absorb the atmosphere of the city and to connect the monuments with Alexandria’s reputation as a former centre of learning.

Tour guide was amazing! The catacombs were a favorite item for me! The fort where the famous lighthouse used to stand is also very beautiful! Had tea with the locals was fun!
We had hard time understanding English. We felt the tour guide was very superficial and narrated minimum
Driver was a good driver, but it says 10 to 12 hours, is not, it is only 10 hours. Is a great city to visit
