This excursion will take you to Bahariya Oasis in the Western Desert and then out into the surrounding sands to see the unique regions known as the Black and White Deserts. As you move through these striking landscapes, you will explore both the natural formations and the wider historical landscapes that shape the area. Along the way you may notice contrasts in colour and terrain that give each desert its name and character. You will be accompanied by a guide who has wandered this desert since childhood and brings long experience and local knowledge of the area's history. The guide is deeply attached to the place and says that, if given the honour of introducing the Black and White Deserts to guests, they will do their utmost to help you appreciate and enjoy both the cultural and geographical sides of the region.
