You are collected from your hotel and brought to the marina, where you board a comfortable boat and sail out into the Red Sea just as the afternoon heat softens. Loungers on deck, a drink in hand and easy music set the mood while the coastline slips behind you and the jagged desert mountains of the Sinai turn gold, then rose, then deep purple against the sky. Through the boat's glass bottom you can watch the coral and reef fish drift past below even without getting wet — a gentle window onto the underwater world that makes Sharm famous.
