Visit in the early morning or late afternoon when the light is most beautiful and the crowds are thinner. Allow 2-3 hours to explore, bring water, a hat, and sunscreen as the area is largely exposed to the elements, and consider making multiple visits to fully appreciate this overwhelming jumble of ancient remains
