Als u dol bent op buiten de gebaande paden monumenten, wordt u uitgenodigd om Al Menia ongeveer 4 uur ver van Caïro te ontdekken. Je wordt om 06.00 uur overgebracht door ons voertuig met airconditioning, van Cairo naar Al Menia. vervolgens met een motorboot naar Tal Al Amarna, de hoofdstad van Akhenaton. Bezoek daarna Bani Hassan, waar u vele graven uit het oude koninkrijk en het middelste koninkrijk zult zien.

Walid the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions. Both he and the driver Abdullah were also very accommodating of my request to switch out one of the planned stops for Tell el Amarna instead and guiding me on the fly. It might be better to book this one with at least a couple of people though as doing it solo was pricey, but was very lucky to get these two to help me! Also fair warning, there is a lot of driving but you definitely get off the beaten path and at least when I went, there were no other tourists which was fantastic. Thanks for a great trip!!
