Privétours door Caïro: piramides van Gizeh, oud Egyptisch Museum & bazaar

I thought the tour was fine until looking back on my itinerary--I was supposed to go to Khan el Kalil market at the end but was instead taken to a cotton shop, an expensive spice shop, payparus museum, and optional perfume store--all of which my guide likely receives commission from my sales. My guide Aya never once explained why we did this and not the tour I booked and I forgot what was planned each day so didn't fight it. The next day on a tour where she was the guide she changed my itinerary AGAIN, by adding a second guest to my private tour and cut the bazaar from that day's plan....sayin

• Lovely air conditioned car. • Both driver and guide friendly and approachable. • Seyed Mahmoud (the guide) was very knowledgeable and offered to take lots of pictures for me. He would let me know what the next part of the tour was and if I had no interest, we could skip. When I would ask to sit down for a bit, he would always give me as much time as I needed to recover.

This private Cairo tour was an incredible way to see the city's highlights in one day. Our guide, Osama, was extremely knowledgeable, especially during our visit to the Egyptian Museum, where his explanations brought the ancient artifacts to life. Our tour guide, Tawfik, was very knowledgable and explains everything very well. He is very friendly and engages our kids by asking questions and talking directly to them with so much enthusiam. Our driver, Ali, was also kind and warm.

Any tour of these sights would be great but Marwa, my guide for the day, was beyond excellent. Marwa is very qualified (masters of archeology and Egyptologist) and highly experienced. I had numerous questions which Marwa answered in a friendly and detailed manner. Nothing was too much trouble, I never felt rushed at the museum or Giza and to hear the historical and scientific detail that Marwa had was a real pleasure.
