One of the best and most unique experiences I’ve had in Egypt! While it’s not for the faint of heart, I’d highly recommend this adventure to anyone who’s up for fully immersing themselves in the desert. Departure at 6am by van (last hotel for pick-up). Arrival at 10:30 am at the meeting point with meals and tea, (last stop with toilet). Departure of the excursion in 4x4 at 1pm with 5 stops: black desert, hot spring, white desert, sandboard and old white desert. Arrival at 16:30 on the camp in the middle of the white desert. The tents were already waiting for us. Sunset and sunrise. Hearty and tasty meals, tea, grilled chamallows and chicha. Overnight in small tents on deckchair cushions (very hard to sleep) and in soft and warm downs (no toilet). Forget about European comfort for one night. T
