We saved this tour for our last day here. It was the tour we looked forward to the most! Ola was our guide and she was so knowledgeable, sweet and kind. This tour was so special as we entered the same alleyway and shelter that Mary, Joseph and Jesus fled to from Jerusalem for three months. We saw the well that the holy family drank from. What an amazing tour!
We had a fantastic experience on this tour thanks to our guide, Ibrahim, and our driver, Sadek. Ibrahim’s knowledge of history at every site was impressive, but what truly stood out was how he brought each place to life with local insight and personal stories. It felt more like exploring with a friend his cherished hometown than following a scripted tour. We didn’t just see historical landmarks — we felt like we were walking through history. Interesting tour of several religious sites in Cairo. Our guide was very good, though we found all the information too much to remember. Great pace, lovely lunch.
Our trip through Koptic and Islamic Cairo was spectacular thanks to our guide Ahmed Mahmoud. His depth of Knowledge about Egyptian history was staggering- it felt like traveling with walking encyclopedia. Beyond just dates and names he shared the stories and myths that made places we visited truly come alive. It was also very spiritual, connecting christianity and Islam. If you want a guide who is professional, academic and deeply passionate, look no further.
