First, I must say that the first driver was very polite and attentive. However, he used his cell phone while driving, which he shouldn't do, although I understand it's common practice here. Moustafa, the guide in the desert, was also on his cell phone most of the time, both on the road and in the desert itself. Second, Moustafa's van had several problems: it had an engine problem, the seatbelts couldn't be used, the windows couldn't be opened or closed when it was needed, and he was smoking inside. One of the best and most unique experiences I’ve had in Egypt! While it’s not for the faint of heart, I’d highly recommend this adventure to anyone who’s up for fully immersing themselves in the desert. Our guide, Ahmed (Achman), was absolutely incredible- he alone deserves five stars. From thrilling desert rides to delicious homemade food, he made the experience unforgettable. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime memory!

Departure at 6am by van (last hotel for pick-up). Arrival at 10:30 am at the meeting point with meals and tea, (last stop with toilet). Departure of the excursion in 4x4 at 1pm with 5 stops: black desert, hot spring, white desert, sandboard and old white desert. Arrival at 16:30 on the camp in the middle of the white desert. The tents were already waiting for us. Sunset and sunrise. Hearty and tasty meals, tea, grilled chamallows and chicha. Overnight in small tents on deckchair cushions (very hard to sleep) and in soft and warm downs (no toilet). Forget about European comfort for one night. T
