I had a great day trip! It took 7 and a half hours to get from Luxor to Abu Simbel Temple, but the view from the windows kept me entertained. I stayed awake the entire trip and enjoyed the whole day. This Abu Simbel experience was awesome! I was picked up from Luxor on time and driven to Abu Simbel with no hassle. My guide Waleed Adnan (aka the Nubian Ramses II) was very nice and informative. He gave me lots of free time to explore for myself also. I fully recommend this tour.

We highly recommend taking this tour if you are staying at Luxor. Keep in mind the trip is long (around 5 hours to get there, and 5 to get back), but the experience is totally worth it, such an amazing temple. You get around 2 hours to visit the site. In our case, our driver was Bola Ashak, who made the long journey very enjoyable and kept us safe. We were so confident even to take a some naps. Bola makes the necessary stops for food or toilet.
