VIP Shopping Private Tour Papyrus Perfume Bazaars and Cotton

Overview

You will join a private shopping tour from your hotel in Cairo or Giza with a personal guide who will take you to governmental trust shops and traditional bazaars. The pace will be relaxed, with no rush and no push to buy, so you can look around and choose what you like. Along the way you will visit official shops where authentic goods are available, including silver and gold cartouches. You will see pure perfume essences and learn about fragrances used in ancient times. A demonstration of papyrus making will show how the earliest form of paper was produced. You will also have time in a gallery to view and buy handmade paintings, then explore bazaars that sell stone alabaster statues and crystal items, including pieces from Crystal Assfour. The tour includes a selection of Egyptian cotton products made from long fibres, such as quilts, bed sheets, T-shirts, scarves, underwear, belts and bags. The experience finishes with a return to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
