Overview

Your experience begins with pickup from Alexandria port in an air-conditioned car. Your guide will meet you at the port gate and drive you to Cairo, with at least one stop along the way for a drink or to use the toilet. On arrival you will visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx while an Egyptologist guide fluent in English, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese explains their history and culture. As you move around the plateau you may take a camel ride in the Sahara desert and have plenty of opportunities for photos of the pyramids and the Sphinx. Your guide is also a capable photographer and can help capture memorable shots. Later you will eat at an Egyptian restaurant to sample local dishes, then have time for shopping and to see Egyptian products and souvenirs. After the full-day Egyptian experience, the team will return you to Alexandria port. You can customise the tour by adding extra sightseeing, which may include Saqqara, a museum visit, or other sites in Cairo or Giza.
