On this private guided tour you will visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, the largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You’ll also see the Great Sphinx, the striking half‑human, half‑lion statue, and explore more pyramids scattered across the Giza plateau at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Along the way you can take a camel ride, snap photos of the monuments and absorb the history of the site, including the nearby Valley Temple. Lunch will include koshry, and the tour continues with a trip to Cairo’s markets. There you can pick up souvenirs such as papyrus, silver and perfume. The experience combines time at the ancient monuments with a market visit for a complete glimpse of the area.

It was the reason I came to Egypt and watching the pyramids and Sphinx did not disappoint me. Tour guide provided historical facts regarding the oldest civilization known to man. Easy pickup from my hotel’s door and private.
Our guide, Kareem, was very helpful and knowledgable. Him and the driver, Mido, took us everywhere and showed us quite a bit of the area surrounding the Pyramids. Very authentic experience!
