At Dendera, the temple of Hathor is one of the most conserved and complete temples you can visit; its architecture and decorative programme give a strong sense of the original design and purpose. As you move between the sites, you will explore ancient monuments while also noticing the rhythms of contemporary village life in the surrounding countryside, adding context to the ancient remains.
