The Hidden Scenes (Valley of the Queens, Habu & Deir Al Madina)

Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel or cruise ship for the Hidden Scene of West Bank tour. Along the way, you will visit several important sites on the west bank of the Nile, beginning with the Valley of the Queens. Known in antiquity as Ta-Set-Neferu, “the place of beauty,” it was the burial site for many wives of pharaohs while the pharaohs themselves were buried in the Valley of the Kings. You will also visit Deir El Madina, the ancient village where the workers who built the royal tombs lived and were buried. At Madenet Habu (the Temple of Medinet Habu) you will see one of Egypt’s largest memorial temples, which measures about 320 m from east to west and roughly 200 m from north to south. The tour finishes with visits to Nobels tombs (Menna, Nakht & Ra'moza). Lunch and bottled water are included. After the visit you will be returned to your hotel or cruise ship.
