This experience brings you to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) with pickup from your hotel or the airport in Cairo in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. At the museum you will see precious antiques from all phases of Pharaonic history, including the golden treasures of the New Kingdom and items associated with Tutankhamun. You will visit the GEM’s laboratories and conservation centres with your guide, who will explain the different parts of the museum and help you learn more about Egyptian history and the most modern finds on display. Later, you will have the opportunity to admire the Great Pyramids—the last existing wonder of the world—along with the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus.
