Pyramids and Sphinx Half-Day Private Guided Tour

Overview

This private guided experience begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by air-conditioned car and a transfer to the Giza Plateau. You will have the site largely to yourself with just your guide, so you can explore at your own pace and make the most of the visit. On the plateau you will see the Great Pyramids — Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos — and learn about their place within the funeral complex. You will also visit the Valley Temple, where priests mummified the body of King Chephren, and get a close look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of Chephren. Along the way your guide will be on hand to explain the sites and to help you capture photos, including playful poses with the Sphinx. After the visit you will be transferred back to your hotel.
