We wanted to become familiar with the "more recent" history of Christian Coptic Cairo, so this tour began at the Hanging Church and the Greek Orthodox and ended with the Church Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. The Khan El Khalili Bazaar allowed us the chance to shop for a scarf and cartouches for each of our boys. Our guide and driver whisked us through crowds, provided history and an Islamic perspective of their city (only upon our request), as well as introducing us to delicious dishes and teas.
