Private Tour to Giza Pyramids and Sakkara & Memphis& Dahshur Pyramids

Overview

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and take you on a private day visiting some of Egypt’s most famous ancient sites. At Giza you’ll see the Great Pyramids of Giza — the pyramids of King Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus — then drive to the panorama area for photos of all three together. As you move through the site you’ll also visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Along the way you’ll travel to Dahshur to see two early royal tombs: the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, the first complete pyramid, both associated with King Senefro. You’ll also visit Old Memphis and the Saqqara necropolis, the oldest burial ground for kings, princes and nobles. At Saqqara you’ll see the Zoser structure, the first stone structure in the ancient world, and the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant, with vegetarian options available if needed. At the end of the day you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Cairo.
