Private Tour Memphis, Saqqara, and Dahshur Pyramids from Cairo.
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
This full-day outing takes you first to the Sakkara Pyramid, about 27 km southwest of Cairo. At Sakkara you will visit the Step Pyramid built for King Zoser, an early and important stage in the development of pyramid architecture. The Step Pyramid is believed to mark the transition between the simple mastaba tombs and the more familiar pyramid form, and you will learn about its place in that architectural evolution. You will then continue to the Dahshur Pyramids, roughly 40 km south of Cairo, set in a royal necropolis in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile. Dahshur is known for its historical significance and for housing two of Egypt’s oldest, largest and best‑preserved pyramids, built between 2613–2589 BCE. The Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid are the most visited structures in the area, and visiting them will give you a clear sense of how pyramid design developed over time.
