The experience of visiting Saqqara and the Serapeum was fantastic and not to be missed when in Cairo. . Unfortunately our guide’s English and knowledge of the sites were both not adequate - it is not acceptable to simply read to us from Google translate . Time management was also poor . We had 5 1/2 hours for the trip but had to miss out on visiting the Dashur pyramids as we were running out of time due to various delays
