Overview

Your Visitors Egypt tour guide will be waiting for you, holding a Visitors Egypt sign so you won’t need to search for them — they will find you. You will travel to the Great Pyramids at Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and enjoy panoramic views of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. As you move through the site, you will see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, with several outstanding photo stops along the way. You will then visit Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, dating back to 2600 BC under the 3rd Dynasty. It is considered the oldest stone structure and was built for King Djoser. After Sakkara you will proceed to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt and the capital during the Old Kingdom, where you will see the statue of Ramses II. On the journey south you will also stop at Dashsur to view the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. The day will finish with a comfortable return to your hotel.
