Private Tour 3-Days in Cairo, Giza & Luxor

Overview

This private three-day tour, led by a qualified Egyptologist, will take you up close to Egypt’s most famous ancient sites. You’ll visit the major pyramids at Dahshur, Saqqara and Giza, exploring their external monuments and learning about their history and construction from your guide. Back in Cairo, the tour will include the Egyptian Museum with its antiquities, then a visit to Old Cairo and the Citadel of Salah El-Din where you’ll see the atmospheric mosques and churches. Along the way you’ll also experience the lively atmosphere of Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. On the third day you’ll travel to Luxor to see and visit the best sights there, guided by the same Egyptologist. As you move through the sites you’ll hear context and stories that link the monuments across millennia, helping the locations make sense as a complete journey through ancient and medieval Egyptian history. Accommodation is not included.
