Hatshepsut was the only female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt. The Colossi of Memnon: The Silent Guardians * The Colossi: Two colossal stone statues, each 18 meters tall, of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, carved from a single block of quartzite.

Tramite la struttura dove abbiamo soggiornato a Luxor,abbiamo acquistato un tour privato alla Valle dei Re,al tempio di Hatshepsut e ai colossi di Memnone.Inutile dilungarsi sulla bellezza che lascia senza fiato di questi immensi regali che ci hanno lasciato dall'antichità.Il valore aggiunto è stata l'organizzazione puntuale degli spostamenti da un sito all'altro (noi avevamo richiesto solo un autista non una guida) con Mohammed (spero di averlo scritto correttamente).E' stato un piacere essere accompagnati da lui:preciso,paziente,dolcissimo.La macchina nuova di zecca era grande e confortevole
