Private Luxor East Bank's Best Sights from Luxor
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
You will take a guided tour to the East Bank of Luxor, led by a licensed Egyptologist and using a private air-conditioned vehicle to reach each site. Along the way you will explore some of the city’s most important ancient monuments: Karnak Temple, the Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple. At Karnak you will move through a complex of temples built over many centuries. Highlights include the Avenue of the Sphinxes and the vast Hypostyle Hall, plus the obelisks associated with Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose I. You will see the Temple of Amon, the granite scarab of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake as you learn about the site’s layered history. After Karnak, a visit to the Luxor Museum will present a compact, carefully displayed collection of artefacts found in the area, including several mummies. Finally you will visit Luxor Temple, dedicated to the Theban Triad, where statues of Ramesses the Great stand among the ruins. The tour will focus on the history and meaning of the monuments as your guide explains the archaeological and cultural context of each place.
