We had a great tour of the City of the Dead and the Alabaster Mosque with our phenomenal guide Fatmia with Tree of Life Tours. She was very knowledgeable so it was really interesting to speak with her about past and present Egyptian history. On our way back to our hotel she treated us to fresh squeezed sugar cane juice which was delicious. We would highly recommend this tour with Fatmia!!
Interesting tour, some tombs are beautiful monuments. It was sad to see the life of some of the poorest quarters of Cairo. We met a friendly lady who showed us the grave house where her family lives. Our guide Mohammed explained to us interestingly the highlights of the mosque.
