Private Half Day Tour to City of the Dead and Mosque of Ibn Tulun in Cairo

Ich habe eine Tour zu Fuß durch city of death gebucht. Laut Beschreibung würden wir dort durch die Straßen gehen, bewohnte Häuser, Geschäfte und die Bewohner sehen. Der Guide sagte noch am Anfang der Tour wir würden zuerst zur Mosche fahren danach zu Fuß durch city of death. Nach der Mosche wollte er mir noch eine Mosche auf dem Gelände zeigen, dann durch die Straßen gehen. Leider hieß es dann dort können wir nicht hin, weil dort alles abgerissen werden soll. Häh?? Ich habe dem Guide gesagt, dass das nicht ok ist. Warum wurde die Tour dann bestätigt und nicht abgesagt ? Daraufhin sind wir über

Fatima was a fantastic tour guide, especially as she had studied extensively while she was at University. I learnt facts that I wouldn’t even have considered if I went by myself or if I googled anything. The city of the dead part is not too much so do just consider it is mostly mosques but fantastic tour nonetheless.

This tour was one of my favorites, during my sixteen days in Egypt. The guide provided a good overview of the huge old mosque, Ibn Tulun, and other sites we visited. The view from the minaret was fantastic. The City of the Dead portion provided insight into a way of life I'd never imagined, and we also visited a beautiful mausoleum and graves of some hugely significant Egyptians. Thank you!

Zenab is an excellent guide who will make sure you see some of the REAL Cairo outside of the normal tourist areas. I felt extemely safe, very well taken care of, very at ease, and had all my questions answered! The tour is also very flexible. I took an interest in the fortress we passed and added it at the end of the tour as an extra! The car was clean and virus safety was given high importance. If you are wondering if Egypt is safe, just come. You will have an amazing experience. All around geat tour, highly reccomend if you want to meet some great people and gain a deeper understand of life
