This was a very interesting tour and we learnt a lot about Cairo’s history. Our guide, Essam was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about history. He also ensured we felt safe at all times especially in the busy market. Our driver Asharf was also great. We would definitely recommend this tour!
We had a great time with our guide Maged, who was very informative and spoke excellent English. The sites we saw in old Cairo were really incredible and so important in religious history. The bazaar definitely has to be seen, though it is way better with a guide as the hussling is less aggressive.
Excellent way to fill half a day Amany was an excellent and patient guide. She adapted the tour to meet our needs
Wael was by far the best tour guide we had on our 6-day trip in Egypt. He is a 3rd generation tour guide with vast knowledge of Egyptian history and culture. One of the highlights of our trip was enjoying Turkish coffee at El Fishawy Cafe in the Bazaar and talking all things Egypt with Wael. Objects sold in the Bazaar are meant for tourists and are low quality. Prices will also be unfair, so be prepared to negotiate. **If you do not want to be harassed in the Bazaar but still want to see it, we recommend going at 9am while shops are still opening**. On Sundays, Coptic holds mass and you will n
Fantastic experience. Our guide, Menna was very knowledgeable and kind. Made us feel very safe. Highly recommend.
When you think of Cairo your mind either goes to the pyramids or to the chaotic modern city, but discovering the Coptic area was something unexpected. Entering the church behold on top of the cave where the Holy Family loved for months was breathtaking. They picked up from our hotel lobby in a super comfortable new car. The driver was an expert in driving through the overcrowded streets. Our guide, Amany, was the perfect guide for doing all of this. She is very knowledgeable and had the patience to also let us explore more time on our own. 100% recommended.
