The drive from Cairo is 3 hours but the museum is a must for any WWII history buff! We especially liked examining all of the found tanks and cannons

This tour was absolutely superb! It was very special for me to get to El-Alamein as my grandfather fought there during the Second World War and I always wanted to visit there and see the museum and also pay my respects at the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery. My driver, guide and now my friend Mo was just brilliant. He made sure everything went smoothly, orgranised entry to the museum, took me to a great restaurant in El-Alamein and most importantly, he was a very good and safe driver. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in the military history of Egypt.

The journey was emotional but was helped by the knowledge and assistance given by our guide and our driver. The cemetery was well maintained and to see the ages of those who died was a sobering sight. Worth the journey from Cairo but it was a long day for all concerned.

The pickup was straightforward with excellent liaison with Head Office Car was in great condition, and clean Driver needed strong reminder about his speed and safety (once!) and this is important given the nature of the motorway across the desert - a long straight ribbon of tarmac is tempting... The timings were perfect, and lots of space given to explore without being fussed. This was important for me, and the Guide was a generous conversational companion The meal at the and (in Cairo) was a splendid end to the whole trip If I could have wished for one thing, it would have been to drive out t
