We were picked up at our hotel. Farouk met us promptly and was patient while we figured out some details with our hotel checkout. We then went to Giza to see the pyramids. The start time was very flexible, which was great because we had an evening flight. Our guide was knowledgable and gave us a lot of great information about the history and building of the pyramids without being overwhelming. He also gave great advice on which options were the best value for our money, which was appreciated. After the pyramids, we stopped in a government-certified shop for some keepsakes before heading to lun
