The tour was okay, but it could have been amazing if our tour guide had been more engaged. She appeared tired throughout the day and even took naps in the passenger seat while we were driving between locations. The tour started off with confusion. We received a text from the tour guide saying our driver was already in the hotel lobby before our scheduled pickup time. We rushed downstairs, only to find that the driver was not there. Hotel staff checked everywhere, and the driver finally arrived about 15 minutes later. When we arrived at the Giza Pyramids, we were told we could not enter because

Doing this tour with a guide that loves arqueology makes all the difference. Our guide Karim answered all the questions, and made some himself to keep it interesting. He was very accommodating and the driver was good (considering how they drive in Cairo).
